I am packing to go away for the weekend on a scrapbooking camp. Really looking forward to it. I usually get around 40 pages done.

KC

My entry for Kaisercraft's July Sketch. This is the week 4 sketch.

SNR

Scrapbook News and Review had server issues and have had to delay their release until 31 July (or so). I have been waiting patiently. Just.
On their network they have a card universe, which is a ning network. It's a separate log in. I uploaded one card which I created using a design by Sharon Lee. The creator of the network has decided to feature it for the week. Isn't that lovely?  You can view the card below on my 20 July blog post.
I'm really looking forward to the weekend. I'm going away with a lovely group of women on a scrapbooking retreat. I've started to get organised already but will try to pack everything up today. Can't wait. I am going to create a wedding album for my Aunt and Uncle. I was their flower girl when I was 4 years old.

More nature shots

I accompanied Room 6 from Booragoon Primary School up to Wireless Hill Park for some nature photos. They will be entering the Chevron photographic competition. I had previously taken Mark out to take some shots and put some on my blog. Here are a couple more of his shots. Not bad I reckon.
I really love the one of the banksia.

A flower card

I have used Sharon Lee's example from last Friday's free class at Scrap Boutique to make this card. It took quite a while (compared to the cards I normally do) but I think it was worth it.

KC July sketch

I wanted to use the Kaisercraft Lush goodies. I liked the look of Kaisercraft's July sketch week 3 so have used that for my layout. I've used the Lush Maple paper, chipboard, rub-ons and Journal tag. I've also used KC's Country Grove - Floral Field and Daisy Chain papers.
These photos were taken last Friday when I took Mark out to take some photos of nature for a School assignment. It was a crisp, fine day and I had to take some photos too. This is in Attadale.

July Sketch challenge at SOUL

Here is my layout for the July sketch Challenge at Scrap Of Your Life.
I've used Kaisercraft Lush papers Lotus and Maple, cardstock, HOTP Stamp and ink, MME ANdrea Victoria Access. Sheet and Bo Bunny Kitchen Spice stickers.
This was such a pretty dessert on the plate I couldn't resist
taking a photo. I have such a sweet tooth.

Passion For Fun

The 123 Challenge for July required Red, Passion for the Title and a grunged theme. Well, I don't do grunge, just not my thing and this is as close as I could come to it. Got the other two criteria in though. I've always loved this photo. I'm doing the Spanish Ole thing here. We are all bridesmaids for my great friends Angela and Andrew, way back when. I was about 24 or so here.

ARTastic July sub

I always enjoy the challenges put up by ARTastic and this month was no exception. I had to go out shopping for a feather to include as you had to have a feather, brown shades and a playing card. I had gotten the Joker playing card in a swap one time so that was handy. Here is what I came up with.

Thursday

I love the 1st of the month. It means new challenges are posted. I get out my notebook and write them down in anticipation of new inspiration for my layouts.
I won my first cyber crop challenge. I won it for a layout I did for Enchanted Scrapbooking. It was a sketch and asked you to use either warm or cool colours. I chose cool. I worked with Kaisercraft Offshore collection and a piece of mulberry paper that I'd had for about 6 years. It was just the right colour and I was happy to finally find a use for it. Here's my example that won.
